Week 10 - Sat, Nov 6, clean-up

A big storm is a brewin'.  So we decided to do some cleaning on Saturday.  Many thanks to the Songers, Grandma Hale, Tinkerbell, and Thomas the Tank Engine for keeping an eye on our kids for a few hours while we battled the sawdust.

 We love that we have horses just outside our living room windows - but we don't have to take care of them!

 And this is our fancy road we were talking about.  It's a work in progress.

Week 9 - Sat, Oct 30 - Road!

Casey G came, filled in the rest of the trenches and put down most of our road. Yay! Just in time for a big Halloween rainstorm. (That means there is a road to drive on instead of mud.)

Marking the Road and the Well

On Saturday, March 13, 2010, we figured (as best we could) where the property line was bordering the Songers. We pounded some posts and strung some police tape so that as people (the well-driller, first of all) came to the property they would have a guide where to drive. Otherwise, permanent ruts would form where we wouldn't want them.

On Monday, March 15, we tried to locate where the well was supposed to go.
