(v here) Met with Nancy from Rocky Mountain Power to pick a new spot for our transformer. We had sent them a detailed letter telling them where we would prefer to run the line from the Songers’ transformer. However, they did not like our idea, but agreed to allow us to run the line further south so the meter will not be right on the front of the house. It will be on the back side of the garage. This will cost us a little more, but will be better placed. And, frankly, running the line where we wanted, along the east fence line, would have been a little tricky to trench, and would take out some trees. So, it’s still a big cost – about $4500 plus, but hey, at least it won’t be ugly.
Other than that, I saw someone working out there by the house, but didn’t go out. So something happened.
